The carnival is organised by a small group of volunteers, who fundraise throughout
the year so that they are able to put on this event and are always looking for more
members to help spread the load! Can you help ?
Glastonbury has 5 carnival clubs based within the town, Masqueraders CC, Wick CC,
King William CC, Key Kids Juvenile CC and Avalon Juvenile CC each year bringing
out a culmination of costume, light, engineering movement, dance and sound.

Glastonbury Chilkwell Guy Fawkes Carnival is one of the largest illuminated Carnivals
in the UK and in Europe, a carnival that does not fail to astound thousands of spectators
every Year in November.
With over 60+ carnival carts, the parade makes its way through the Ancient Isle of
Avalon town of Glastonbury, amongst the carts are walking masquerading individuals,
pairs or groups with their imaginative Costumes.
Visit once and you will want to see it again and again.
