What a change in weather! A rather mild Glastonbury which brought many people out, the crowds were very large in places and the carnival entrants noticed the increase and we have an increas of £1000 this year.  There was a record number of Collectors  again of 200 out on the streets during the day and evening, but we still need more to wander through the back of the crowds.  Our figure includes programme sales of £3976.

PLEASE REFRAIN FROM PURCHASING FROM THE STREET TRADERS.

The money the pedlars receive from you does not contribute to the carnival collection.  We receive very little money from the street traders as a donation.  Each trader that has made a donation will have an  Official Carnival ID badge, issued by Glastonbury Carnival Committee do not be afraid to ask to see it if you do wish to buy from them.

COLLECTORS NEEDED

If you would like to raise money for your charity, local group or organisation by collecting at the carnival or even helping with the final count, or simply help the Committee to raise money by collecting on our behalf. please get in contact with the treasurer to register your interest.
